Real Estate Project Manager
Location: Belgaum
Job Summary
As a Real Estate Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development,
and execution of real estate projects from inception to completion. You will manage project
timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and
within budget. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including architects,
contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies, to ensure successful project delivery and
compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and development of real estate projects, including residential,
commercial, and mixed-use developments. - Prepare project proposals, feasibility studies, and business plans to assess project viability
and secure funding and approvals. - Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, and monitor progress against
established targets. - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers,
contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies, to ensure alignment and collaboration
throughout the project lifecycle. - Manage project procurement, including bidding processes, vendor selection, and contract
negotiation. - Monitor and control project costs, expenditures, and cash flow to ensure adherence to
budgetary constraints. - Implement and enforce quality control and safety standards to ensure compliance with
regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders
through regular progress reports and meetings. - Lead project team meetings, facilitate problem-solving, and resolve conflicts to keep
projects on track. - Ensure timely completion and handover of projects, including obtaining all necessary
permits, certifications, and approvals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related
field; master’ degree preferred/ NICMAR.
Experience/Skill Required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in real estate development, project management, or
related roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and
within budget. - Strong knowledge of real estate development processes, including zoning, land use
regulations, permitting, and construction. - Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks
effectively. - Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
diverse stakeholders. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and
concisely. - Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building principles is a plus.
- Professional certifications in project management or real estate development are desirable.
