Job Summary

Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society is a leading cooperative society dedicated to serving the local community in 4 states (Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa and Delhi). Responsibilities

  •  Supervise and provide leadership to branch managers and regional office staff.

  • Conduct regular meetings to review performance, set targets, and ensure effective communication across branches.

  • Manage recruitment, training, and performance appraisals for regional staff.

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer service and business growth.

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase deposits, loans, insurance, and mutual fund sales within the region.

  • Identify growth opportunities, new market segments, and innovative products to drive regional business.

  • Collaborate with branch managers to monitor sales performance and implement corrective measures when necessary.

  • Ensure regional sales targets for products are met and exceeded.

  • Ensure branches are compliant with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to policies and procedures.

  • Regularly audit branches to ensure accuracy and compliance in all transactions (e.g., deposits, loans, insurance claims).

  • Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.

  • Oversee the financial performance of the region, ensuring profitability and cost- effectiveness.

  • Monitor and analyze regional budget, financial reports, and performance metrics.

  • Ensure the region meets targets for assets, liabilities, and revenue generation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners.

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and feedback.

  • Monitor customer feedback and take proactive steps to enhance customer service
    standards.

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on regional performance, sales trends, customer
    feedback, and operational issues.

  • Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to refine strategies and maintain competitiveness.

  • Maintain close communication with head office regarding progress, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in managing operations within the cooperative society or financial services sector, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products such as loans, deposits, insurance, and mutual funds.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales management, and team leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

  • Based in the regional office with frequent travel to branch locations.
  • Full-time position with standard office hours
