
Marathi Raj Bhasha Day is celebrated by 'Lokmanya Society' in various schools
On the occasion of Marathi Rajbhasha Day, Lokmanya organized a series of lectures on "Devanagari script and its beauty" in various schools to make children understand the importance of calligraphy. This lecture Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar Guruji Vidyalaya Primary Department, M.A.S.O.Renuka Swaroop Prashala, Kai.V.D.Vaidya Girls School, Laxmanrao Apte Prashala and Junior College, Acharya Shri.Vijay Vallabh School, Mahesh Vidyalaya English Medium School, New English Medium School, Jijamata Girls' High School, DES Primary School, New M.V. Primary School, Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar Guruji Vidyalaya Secondary Department, K. Sundarbai Rathi Prashala, Ahilya Devi Girls' Preshala, Mahesh Vidyalaya Semi English Medium School, Samajbhushan Baburao Phule Secondary School, Mrs. Sundarevi Rathi High School, St. Cripson's Home Nursery, Modern High School, Vimalabai Garware Madhyamik Prashala, Sarita Vidyalaya, No. M.V. Girls' School, Advt. D. R. Nagarkar Prashala was conducted in these schools. Mr. Shailesh Joshi presented the lecture to the children in a very nice manner. More than 3000 students from all these schools could benefit from the lecture. A calligraphy competition was held among all the students, out of which the first three students from each school were awarded by Lokmanya. Principals and teachers in all these schools were well supported. Principals and teachers expressed their feelings that students' writing skills have changed a lot during the Corona period, this kind of lecture will benefit the students.
During the program Assistant Regional Manager Shri. Harshad Zodge was present while Shri. Sachin Jagde and Mrs. Along with Yogini Nandurkar, the branch officers and employees of various branches contributed.
